Today, November 20, marks the 74th anniversary of the outstanding Ukrainian mining engineer Volodymyr Ilyich Bondarenko. He was born in the city of Osipenko (now Berdyansk in the Zaporizhzhia region) in 1951.
Since 1989, Volodymyr Ilyich has held a doctorate in technical sciences, has been a professor since 1991, and since 1999 has been an honored figure in science and technology of Ukraine. His scientific work deals with solving problems in the field of mineral extraction, particularly coal and iron ore.
Volodymyr Ilyich Bondarenko is an outstanding specialist in the field of mining who has dedicated his life to the search for new technologies in resource extraction. His contribution to the development of the mining industry in Ukraine is significant, and he is wished good health and further scientific achievements.
