On December 21, we commemorated the 62nd anniversary of the birth of the Hero of Ukraine (posthumously) - Stepan Ivanovych Choban. He was born on December 21, 1963, in the village of Dolynske, located in the Izmail district of Odessa region, and passed away on February 28, 2022, in the city of Kropyvnytskyi, Kirovohrad region. He was laid to rest on March 6, 2022, in the city of Myrhorod, Poltava region.
Stepan Ivanovych Choban was a serviceman, military pilot, major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and participant in the Russo-Ukrainian War. His life and service path were filled with significant events and achievements.
Today we honor the memory of the hero who gave his life for the independence and peace in Ukraine. Stepan Ivanovych Choban will always remain in the memory and hearts of Ukrainians as a true hero and defender of the native land.
