Ukraine War Update
On July 2, the battlefield saw 224 combat engagements. Over the past 24 hours, the enemy launched two missile strikes, firing 75 rockets. Additionally, 62 airstrikes were carried out, with 187 guided aerial bombs dropped. Operations involved 6,368 kamikaze drones. In total, the adversary conducted 2,145 shelling attacks on populated areas and positions held by Ukrainian defenders.
Frontline Situation
The Pokrovsk sector emerged as the most intense hotspot, where 42 occupiers were eliminated and another 16 wounded. Destroyed in this area were:
- one tank
- two units of automotive equipment
- eight units of specialized enemy machinery
Furthermore, one enemy infantry shelter was hit, one artillery system was damaged, along with one vehicle and one enemy drone control post. A total of 231 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were either destroyed or suppressed.
In the North-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, five clashes occurred, with three still ongoing. The situation in these regions is growing more complex: the enemy launched one airstrike using a single guided bomb and carried out 35 shelling attacks. In the South-Slobozhansky sector, the adversary stormed positions 15 times, with four engagements still active.
On the Lyman front, seven attempts to advance near Novoselivka, Dibrova, and Lyman were repelled. In the Slavyansk direction, 26 offensive attempts were halted, with one clash continuing. The Kramatorsk sector recorded one enemy assault near Chasiv Yar. In the Kostiantynivka area, 13 enemy attacks were beaten back, with two engagements still underway.
On the Pokrovsk axis, the enemy launched 28 assaults, while in the Oleksandrivka direction, two attacks near Ternove and Yehorivka were repelled. The Hulyaipole sector saw 21 enemy offensives, with one clash also ongoing.
This marks the 1,590th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine. The frontline remains tense, with combat operations continuing across multiple sectors.
These combat reports highlight the extreme intensity of the conflict on various fronts, where Ukrainian forces are putting up fierce resistance. The heavy losses among occupiers in the Pokrovsk sector, the hottest area, may indicate the effectiveness of Ukraine's defensive strategy. Amid relentless enemy attacks, continued support from international partners remains critical and could shape the war's trajectory going forward.
