The Frontline Situation in Ukraine
Ukrainian forces were engaged in 230 separate combat clashes over the past day as Russia continued its heavy assault. The attacks included two missile strikes, with a total of 44 missiles launched, 80 airstrikes conducted, and 268 guided aerial bombs deployed. Furthermore, Russian forces utilized 6,607 'kamikaze' drones to hit targets. Throughout the conflict zone, Ukrainian military positions and settlements came under fire 3,154 times, which included 71 salvos from multiple launch rocket systems.
Ukrainian Defense and Counter-Actions
Ukrainian defenders actively repelled attacks across multiple sectors of the frontline. On the North-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, one assault was repelled, four airstrikes were carried out, eleven guided bombs were dropped, and 112 artillery bombardments occurred, six of which involved rocket artillery. On the South-Slobozhansky direction, enemy forces attempted 13 assaults near the settlements of Starytsia, Pishchane, Kruhle, Nesterne, Chuhunivka, as well as towards Zelene and Okhrimivka.
- On the Kupiansk axis, six attacks were repelled in the area of Kruhliakivka and towards Kurylivka, Bohuslavka, and Novoplatonivka.
- The Lyman direction faced 14 assaults, particularly towards Chervonyi Stav, Novoiehorivka, Drobycheve, Stavky, Lyman, and in the areas of Zarichne and Novoselivka.
- On the Sloviansk axis, eight attempts to advance were thwarted in the areas of Yampil, Zakytne, and towards Rai-Oleksandrivka.
On the Kramatorsk direction, Russian troops twice tried to advance towards positions near Orikhovo-Vasylivka and Bondarne. Meanwhile, on the Kostiantynivka axis, the enemy launched 24 attacks near the settlements of Oleksandro-Shultyne, Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, and towards Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Berestok, Stepanivka, Sofiiivka, and Novopavlivka.
On the Pokrovsk direction, 50 offensive actions were halted near the settlements of Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Molodetske, Udachne, Muravka, Filiia, and towards Bilytskyi, Shevchenko, Hryshyne, Serhiivka, and Novopidhorodnie. On the Oleksandrivsk direction, the enemy attacked ten times near the settlements of Terrove, Zlahoda, and towards Verbove, Vyshneve, and Oleksandragrad.
This marks the 1,465th day of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine.
