War Update
Ukraine's General Staff of the Armed Forces has reported a significant escalation in combat activity over the past 24 hours, documenting 234 separate engagements. Russian forces launched 103 airstrikes, dropped 317 guided aerial bombs, and deployed 9,834 kamikaze drones. In total, 3,146 shelling attacks targeted Ukrainian positions and populated areas, including 43 strikes from multiple launch rocket systems.
In response, Ukraine's defense aviation struck two artillery systems and two drone control centers, as well as four command posts and six areas where enemy personnel were concentrated. Additionally, one other critical enemy asset was successfully hit.
Breakdown by Frontline Sector
- Northern Slobozhansk and Kursk sectors: Six combat clashes occurred. The enemy carried out two airstrikes using five guided bombs, and 63 shelling attacks were recorded, two of which involved multiple rocket launchers.
- Southern Slobozhansk sector: Russian forces launched 11 assaults, particularly near the settlements of Prylipka, Zakhidne, Starytsia, Okhrimivka, and Lyman.
- Kupiansk sector: Three enemy attempts to advance were halted in areas including Shyikivka, Petropavlivka, and Novoplatonivka.
- Lyman sector: The enemy tried to breach defenses 14 times, with clashes near Borova, Chervonyi Stav, Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Ozerne, Lyman, and Dibrova.
- Sloviansk sector: Russian forces conducted 13 assaults, focusing on Zakytne, Riznykivka, Kryva Luka, and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
- Kramatorsk sector: No offensive actions were reported here. However, in the Kostiantynivka sector: occupiers launched 16 attacks near Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Mykolaipillia, and Toretske.
- Pokrovsk sector: Ukrainian forces repelled 40 assault attempts by the aggressor in areas such as Shakhove, Zolotyi Kolodiazh, Vilne, Bilytske, Rodynske, Shevchenko, Hryshyne, Serhiivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novopavlivka, Novyi Donbas, Nikanorivka, Novooleksandrivka, and Pokrovsk.
- Oleksandrivka sector: The enemy attacked once near Oleksandrohrad, while in the Huliaipole sector: occupiers carried out 22 assaults, targeting Rybne, Vozdvyzhivka, Rizdvianka, Dobropillia, Zaliznychne, Huliaipilske, Hirke, Olenokostiantynivka, Verkhnia Tersa, and Charivne.
- Orikhiv sector: Six enemy attempts to advance were stopped near Stepove, Stepnohirsk, Mala Tokmachka, and Plavni. Meanwhile, in the Dnipro sector: no offensive actions were conducted by the enemy.
This marks the 1,568th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine.
