Young doctors receive 200 thousand UAH: how the state supports medical professionals in communities

Молоді лікарі отримують фінансову допомогу: як держава забезпечує медичних працівників у громадах.

Young therapist Maria Mala, who completed her internship this year, started working in the Oleshanska community in Prykarpattia. She serves 15 villages and over 7,200 residents. Maria was born in one of these villages, so she understands how important it is to have medical assistance nearby.

Since childhood, she dreamed of becoming a doctor and helping the people of her community. Choosing the specialty 'Internal Medicine', Maria aims to provide comprehensive assistance and support to patients at all stages of treatment.

‘Don't be afraid to start with the community. It is here that you can see the true value of the profession — when your help changes someone's life’.

The government initiative to support young doctors in rural communities enabled Maria to receive a one-time payment. She plans to use these funds for further training and specialization, to help her patients even more in the future.

Maria Mala is a lifelong dreamer who became a therapist and dedicatedly serves her community by providing medical assistance to the residents of the villages and developing her professional skills.
