French President Emmanuel Macron announced the creation of a military-political proposal for Ukraine, supported by representatives of 35 countries and organizations. This became known during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Paris, following a meeting of the 'coalition of the willing.'
Macron reported that 26 countries are ready to send military contingents or provide assistance to support security in Ukraine to prevent possible aggression, rather than to start a war with Russia. He also warned of potential additional sanctions should Russia refuse to engage in peace negotiations.
This initiative has garnered strong support from the international community and has become an important step in supporting Ukraine amid escalating conflict in the eastern part of the country.
