War Update
Fierce fighting continues across the front lines, with 260 combat engagements reported over the past 24 hours. The enemy is intensifying its use of missile and air strikes, kamikaze drones, and heavy shelling. In response, Ukraine’s defense forces have struck multiple concentrations of enemy troops and equipment, reflecting the high intensity of operations on both sides. This marks the 1,598th day of the full-scale war.
During this period, the adversary launched 2 missile strikes using 9 missiles. Additionally, 88 aerial attacks were recorded, involving the release of 244 guided bombs. The occupiers deployed 8,866 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,062 shelling attacks on populated areas and defensive positions, including 44 from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). The city of Sumy also came under an air strike.
Ukraine’s defense forces, in turn, struck the following targets:
- 15 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated,
- 4 artillery systems,
- 1 other critical facility.
On the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk axes, 3 enemy assaults were halted. The adversary carried out 1 air strike in these sectors, dropping 3 guided bombs. Overall, the enemy conducted 76 shelling attacks in these areas, including 2 from MLRS.
On the South-Slobozhanskyi axis, Ukrainian units repelled 8 enemy attacks. In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy launched 4 assaults; in the Lyman sector, occupiers mounted 11 attacks. The Sloviansk axis saw 23 assault operations, while 10 attacks were recorded in the Kramatorsk sector and 19 in the Kostiantynivka area.
On the Pokrovsk axis, defenders stopped 44 attacks, while in the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy attempted 3 assaults. The adversary tried to advance in the Huliaipole area but did not conduct offensive operations on the Orikhiv and Prydniprovske axes. The front-line situation remains tense, with active combat continuing on both sides.
