Russia launched attacks on three Ukrainian regions—Sumy, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk—on February 27. In the Sumy region, four people were killed and two more were wounded. In international news, the son of Ukrainian banker Oleksandr Adarych was detained in Italy on suspicion of attempting to extort money from his father. According to the investigation, the son allegedly tried to force his father to transfer 250,000 euros in cryptocurrency by convincing him to come to Milan for a business meeting. The son is also suspected of involvement in his father's kidnapping and having accomplices. This case follows the incident in January when Oleksandr Adarych fell from a window of a house in Milan.
