War Update
The front line saw 295 combat engagements over the past 24 hours, highlighting the intense pace of military operations. Russian forces carried out 96 airstrikes, dropped 292 guided aerial bombs, and used 8,825 kamikaze drones. In addition, occupiers launched 2,913 shelling attacks on positions held by Ukraine’s defense forces and civilian areas, including 37 strikes from multiple rocket launchers. Aerial bombardments targeted the settlements of Ulanove and Tovstodubove in Sumy region.
Ukraine’s air force, missile units, and artillery struck 14 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated and destroyed three artillery systems. On the North-Slobozhansky and Kursk axes, the enemy assaulted Ukrainian positions twice, conducting one airstrike with a single guided bomb. These sectors endured 48 shelling attacks, two of which involved multiple rocket launchers.
Frontline Situation
On the South-Slobozhansky axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled 12 enemy attempts to advance near Starytsia and Vilcha. Additional assaults occurred in the directions of:
- Lyman
- Radkivka
- Khatnie
- Izbystske
- Sheviakivka
On the Kupiansk axis, Russian troops attacked twice toward Novoosynove and Novoplatonivka, while on the Lyman axis, occupiers tried nine times to break through defenses, particularly near Stavky and Dibrova.
On the Sloviansk axis, the enemy conducted 33 assault operations, with attacks recorded near Zakitne, Kryva Luka, and Riznykivka, as well as toward Rai-Oleksandrivka. On the Kramatorsk axis, no assault actions occurred, whereas on the Kostiantynivka axis, 16 attacks were noted, including around Rusyni Yar, Ploshchivka, Ivanopillia, Kostiantynivka, and Illinivka.
On the Pokrovsk axis, Ukrainian defenders halted 30 enemy assaults, with battles raging near Bilytske, Novooleksandrivka, and Serhiivka. Overall, attacks targeted the directions of:
- Myrne
- Novopavlivka
- Shevchenko
- other settlements
On the Oleksandrivka axis, invaders launched four attacks, and on the Huliaipole axis, 21 attacks occurred, including near Rybne and Zaliznychne.
On the Orikhiv axis, Ukrainian forces stopped one enemy attempt to advance toward Plavni. On the Dnipro axis, no offensive actions were reported in the past day. This marks the 1,594th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine.
The high intensity of combat indicates the conflict remains in an active phase, with both sides continuing attempts to attack and counterattack. The numerous airstrikes and shelling underscore the importance of territorial control and each side’s drive to gain tactical advantages. The frontline situation stays tense, requiring Ukrainian troops to maintain constant readiness to repel assaults and defend their positions.
