According to the State Treasury Service of Ukraine, in January-November 2025, cash expenditures of the state budget increased by 18% compared to the previous year and amounted to 3.54 trillion UAH. In November alone, expenses amounted to 374.1 billion UAH.
The total amount of expenditures for security and defense amounted to 2.22 trillion UAH, which accounts for over 60% of all cash expenditures of the state budget. This information was included in the monthly reporting of the treasury.
As a result, the increase in cash expenditures of the state budget indicates an increase in funding for national security and defense, which may be related to strengthening the defense capability and maintaining the stability of the country.
