In 9 months of the state program for preferential lending to manufacturers of the defense industry, 50 companies have already received loans totaling 2.7 billion UAH, the Ministry of Defense reported.
Currently, 23 applications from defense enterprises for more than 2.5 billion UAH have been approved for issuance. Additionally, 57 applications are at various stages of consideration. Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Hvozdyar noted that the main recipients of the loans are manufacturers of UAVs and their components, which is important for the country's defense.
The affordable lending program for Ukrainian manufacturers in the defense industry was created to support critically important enterprises of the Ukrainian private sector for the economy and defense capability. Loans are provided for working capital or investment projects with a long repayment period and a low interest rate for defense enterprises.
The number of Ukrainian defense enterprises that have received loans under the state program for preferential lending continues to grow, which will contribute to the further development of the defense industry and ensure support for Ukraine's defense capability.
