In addition, UAH 1.5 billion went to housing subsidies and benefits, and UAH 2.4 billion was directed toward insurance payouts—including UAH 1.0 billion for sick leave. Another UAH 10.0 billion was allocated to social assistance and other payments. During August, the Pension Fund of Ukraine provided 717.7 thousand services to citizens requesting help, underscoring the continued delivery of support despite economic pressures.
Timely funding for pensions and social programs is key to maintaining stability for Ukrainian households in difficult times. The use of diverse channels, such as Ukrposhta and authorized banks, helps ensure that aid reaches those in need. These figures highlight the government's broader commitment to shielding citizens from the impact of ongoing economic difficulties.
