Repairing Ukraine's Power Infrastructure
Following recent Russian strikes, a workforce of 58,000 is engaged in restoring Ukraine's damaged power grid. These efforts are focused on critical energy infrastructure, including generation facilities and transmission networks, which sustained significant damage in Kyiv and other regions. To bolster repair work in the capital, an additional 50 repair crews have been dispatched to Kyiv. Specialist teams are also prioritizing work in several key oblasts:

- Chernihiv Oblast
- Sumy Oblast
- Dnipro Oblast
- Zaporizhzhia Oblast
Significant stabilization work has also been carried out in Poltava and Odesa oblasts. This large-scale restoration is a crucial task to provide light and basic comfort for the population amid a severe energy crisis, a direct consequence of the ongoing war.
