The European Investment Bank decided to support Ukraine and allocated as much as 74 million euros for this purpose. What projects are they heading for? In particular, these funds will be directed towards the restoration of critically important services, ensuring energy independence for communities, transportation development, and the recovery of key infrastructure. The area of activity covers eight regions of Ukraine, including Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Vinnytsia, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi, Lviv, Rivne, and Ivano-Frankivsk.
Here is where the real light is ignited: part of the allocated funds - over 1.1 million euros - will be designated for the 'Solutions for Renewable Energy' (RES) program. It will support the installation of solar power plants with energy storage systems in hospitals and schools across three regions. Such steps will contribute not only to freeing up budget funds but also to reducing the burden on energy sources while minimizing emissions into the atmosphere.
'I thank the Ministry of Development team for their work.
I thank the European Investment Bank, the European Union, the Government of Germany, and all partners for their effective cooperation.'
Ukraine appreciates the significantly large amount of funds allocated by the European Investment Bank to support important sectors of the economy and the country's development. This will always be important for infrastructure, restoring the well-being of the population, and creating favorable conditions for future generations.
