В Україні виділено 740 мільйонів гривень для реалізації 119 проектів відновлення громад.

Ukrainian Government Backs Infrastructure Funding

The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has approved a grant distribution plan, allocating 740.3 million hryvnias to local communities for infrastructure repair. This funding is part of a larger international effort to rebuild critical systems damaged during the ongoing conflict. The money will finance 119 specific projects in healthcare, water supply, and energy sectors, all of which have been pre-approved by the European Investment Bank under a financial agreement between Ukraine and the EIB.

The allocated grant will fund the following initiatives:

  • 21 projects related to healthcare facilities;
  • 63 projects focused on water supply and sanitation;
  • 35 projects aimed at enhancing community energy resilience.

Minister of Economy Oleksiy Soboliev and Deputy Prime Minister Taras Kachka have presented the Ukraine Prosperity Package, a capital mobilization plan for national reconstruction. This strategic document was developed in collaboration with the World Bank and U.S. partners.

Broad International Cooperation

In a further show of support, Czech companies are also set to participate in rebuilding Ukraine's energy infrastructure. This underscores the wide-ranging international commitment to restoring Ukraine's vital systems.

This grant project represents a significant step in rebuilding Ukraine's war-damaged infrastructure. The involvement of international partners like the European Investment Bank and Czech firms highlights growing global support for Ukraine, which is crucial not only for recovery but also for the nation's long-term economic development.

The implementation of these projects is expected to significantly improve citizens' quality of life and contribute to greater stability across the country.
