Zaporizhzhia region under heavy assault
Over the past day, occupying forces launched 820 attacks on 50 different communities in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region. One person was wounded in the Zaporizhzhia district as a result. The Russian military also carried out 24 airstrikes hitting 20 locations, including:

Shelling and its aftermath
Six separate attacks were recorded using multiple rocket launcher systems, targeting Zaliznychne, Novoandriivka, Charivne, and Staroukrainka. Another 326 artillery strikes hit 21 communities, including:

Authorities received 140 reports of damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure. A separate overnight Russian attack on the city of Dnipro left at least two people dead, eight wounded, and one person unaccounted for. On April 22, Russian forces also shelled an agricultural enterprise in the settlement of Velykyi Burluk in Kharkiv region, though no casualties were reported there.
The latest developments in Zaporizhzhia region highlight the ongoing intensity of combat between Ukrainian forces and Russian occupiers. The high volume of strikes—especially from drones and artillery—raises serious concerns for civilian safety in the area.
