Donald Trump, the American president, cannot end the war in Ukraine in a day, as he promised during his inauguration. His attempts at diplomacy meet resistance, and after a series of meetings with Putin, Zelensky, and European leaders, it has become clear that the conflict remains unresolved. While Trump declared a possible ceasefire, Moscow showed no signs of change.

The situation was complicated by Trump's conversations with his advisor, who, according to various accounts, misinterpreted Putin's words in Moscow or deliberately conveyed false information.

The Kremlin's demands remain unchanged, and the key issues are territorial claims and security guarantees for Ukraine from the United States.

Trump faces difficulties in attempting to secure peace in the region, with their differing views based on different realities. Trump claims that the demands of the Ukrainian government and European allies are unattainable, expressing great disappointment in their approach.

The Ukrainian war remains unresolved in the context of the struggle for peace and territorial integrity. Trump has yet to find common ground with Moscow and support Ukraine on this issue, indicating further complexity in the situation.
