Grants Boosting Ukraine's Agricultural Sector

Since the start of the year, Ukrainian agricultural enterprises have secured a total of 102.5 million UAH in state grants dedicated to orchards and greenhouses. This funding has reached 20 businesses, highlighting ongoing government efforts to strengthen the country's farming industry. The breakdown includes:

  • 12 farms that received 56.5 million UAH to expand fruit orchards, berry cultivation, and vineyards;
  • 8 operations that obtained 46 million UAH for developing greenhouse facilities.

Future Outlook for Grant Funding

Looking ahead to 2026, the maximum grant per project will rise to 7 million UAH, covering no more than 70% of total project costs. For businesses located in de-occupied or frontline areas, the grant can cover up to 80% of expenses. Overall, since the program's inception, the state has disbursed 1.69 billion UAH to 361 agricultural producers.

This financial support is a key driver for rebuilding and modernizing Ukraine's agriculture amid ongoing challenges. By targeting orchards and greenhouses, the grants aim to boost productivity and generate new employment opportunities. The planned increase in funding limits by 2026, especially for enterprises in de-occupied and conflict-affected zones, signals a strategic focus on reviving regions that need the most assistance.

In addition to the recent grants awarded, Ukrainian farmers now have access to a new financial framework that includes grants of up to 20 million UAH and attractive loan options. This initiative aims to further support the agricultural sector and enhance sustainability.
