Ukraine's Agroexport in the 2025/2026 Marketing Year
Ukraine's agroexport since the beginning of the 2025/2026 marketing year shows a decline in the supply of grain and grain legume crops. The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food reports a significant reduction in the volumes of export of key crops. Since the beginning of the marketing year, Ukraine has sent abroad more than 15.28 million tons of grain and grain legumes.
Dynamics of Export of Key Crops
- Wheat export: 7.84 million tons (down from 9.69 million tons last year)
- Corn export: 5.89 million tons (down from 9.51 million tons last year)
- Barley export: 1.28 million tons (down from 1.96 million tons last year)
- Rye export: 0.2 thousand tons (down from 10.8 thousand tons last year)
- Flour export: 34.3 thousand tons (down from 37.2 thousand tons last year)
The marketing year in Ukraine for grains starts on July 1 and lasts until June 30 of the following year.
The decrease in grain export volumes may indicate a number of factors, including the impact of climatic conditions, changes in domestic production, and global market trends. These data are important for both Ukrainian farmers and international partners, as Ukraine occupies one of the leading positions in global agroexport. The further development of the situation may affect grain prices in the global markets and the food security of importing countries.
