In Chernivtsi, a man received a real prison term due to fake bomb threats at educational institutions. It turns out that a 26-year-old IT specialist sent false messages about the mining of schools and kindergartens in Chernivtsi, which led to evacuations and a suspension of classes.

His actions caused not only panic among students and teachers but also significant damage. The man received a sentence of one year and six months in prison and must also reimburse over 10,000 hryvnias in damages. Until the verdict becomes final, he remains behind bars.

By creating panic and disrupting the educational process, the teacher acted with the intention of transferring educational institutions to a distance learning format.

This case once again highlights the seriousness of the consequences of fake threats and the importance of a responsible attitude towards the information we disseminate.
