On December 17, public transport in Zaporizhzhia will change due to the closure of bus and trolleybus traffic through the DniproHES dam. Temporary restrictions apply to trolleybus, tram, and bus routes, some of which will be suspended or adjusted. The Zaporizhzhia City Council reports.
The Department of Transport and Communications announced that the municipal enterprise Zaporizhzhia Electric Transport will operate under modified traffic schemes. Passengers are asked to consider these adjustments when planning their trips around the city.
Public transport in Zaporizhzhia: how trolleybuses and trams will operate
On December 17, trolleybuses will run on the following routes:
No. 3 4th Southern microdistrict – Zaporizhzhia Square
No. 8 Simferopol Highway – Zaporizhzhia Square
No. 9 BK ZAlK – Sedova St.
No. 14 Simferopol Highway – Embankment
No. 17 Sedova St. – Zaporizhzhia Square.
The movement of trolleybus No. 1 and No. 11 is temporarily suspended.
Trams No. 3, No. 10, and No. 15 will operate according to the current schemes. At the same time, route No. 14 will run between Avtostrada and Freedom Square, and No. 16 – between Pavlo-Kichkas and Zaporizhzhia Circus. Tram No. 12 will temporarily not go on the line.
Public transport operation in Zaporizhzhia: changes for bus routes
Buses will operate on routes No. 7, No. 29, No. 34a, No. 38, No. 39, No. 56, No. 59, No. 71, No. 86, No. 94, No. 97, and No. 98 in accordance with the approved schemes. Route No. 71 will run between Zaporizhzhia Square and the Epicenter Shopping Center along Soborna Avenue and the M-18 highway. Route No. 98 will terminate at the stop on Garnizonna Street.
Additionally, buses will be launched on the routes from Pishchana Street to Metallurgiv Avenue and from Zaporizhkabel plant to Metallurgiv Avenue. Routes No. 17, No. 18, and No. 72 from Borodynskyi and Osypenkivskyi microdistricts will go around through Khortytsia and Ark Avenue Bridge.
