Measures to limit electricity consumption in Ukraine

Tomorrow, December 13, restrictions on electricity consumption will be introduced throughout Ukraine. This was reported by 'Glavkom' referring to 'Ukrenergo'.

The reason for the introduction of restrictions is the damage to energy facilities following Russian attacks. On December 13, a schedule of outages and power limitations will be in effect. 'Ukrenergo' warns that these schedules may change throughout the day.

'Attention! The situation in the energy system may change. Information about the timing and volume of outages at your address can be obtained on the official websites of the power distribution company in your region.'

On December 12, restrictions on electricity consumption were also introduced in all regions of Ukraine. According to Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, the duration of electricity outages may be reduced this weekend.

We also remind you that by the end of the week, electricity outages for three groups of consumers will be carried out, which may lead to 12-hour interruptions in electricity supply.

In the context of increased threats to the country's energy infrastructure, it is extremely important to be prepared for planned, emergency, or prolonged electricity outages, especially in the cold season. 'Glavkom' has gathered recommendations to help properly prepare your home, ensure you have all necessary supplies, and know how to act in case of power outages, lack of heating, or water supply.

The mentioned restrictions are the result of attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure and threats to the country's energy security. Try to follow the established rules and measures in case of electricity outages to ensure your safety and comfort during the crisis situation.
