The Battle at the Lyman Direction
At the Lyman direction, enemy infantry is storming Ukrainian positions from different sides.
This was reported by Maxim Bilosusov, the head of the communications department of the 60th separate mechanized Inhulets brigade during a telethon.
Maxim Bilosusov: 'Right now, we are like in the myth of Hercules and the Lernaean Hydra. When the Lernaean Hydra constantly grows new heads. I am precisely talking about Russian assaults in small groups, which are constantly appearing here and there. This requires high concentration from our scouts to constantly observe their movements from the sky, and accordingly destroy them.'
The military explained that in the brigade's area of responsibility, constant infantry assaults are ongoing, and the main task now is to hold back the enemy's advance due to the presence of a large number of enemy drones and infantry.
Russians are using motorcycles for quick approach to Ukrainian positions and are carrying out attacks from different directions. Ukrainian soldiers are trying to stop enemy attacks and destroy the sources of constant assaults, using all their capabilities.
Despite the difficult situation and pressure from the enemy, defenders are holding their positions and inflicting losses on the adversary.
With maximum activity in the Lyman direction, Ukrainian troops are trying to hold back Russian assaults and maintain control over the situation. Despite the large concentration of enemy forces, defenders continue to defend their positions with great determination and effectiveness.
