On January 9, 2026, public transport in Zaporizhzhia will operate with changes due to the closure of bus and trolleybus traffic across the DniproHES dam. The restrictions apply to trolleybus, tram, and bus routes in the city. This is reported by the 'Zaporizhzhia City Council'.
How Public Transport in Zaporizhzhia Will Operate on January 9
Trolleybuses will operate on the following routes on January 9:

The operation of trolleybus routes №1 and №11 will be temporarily suspended.
Trams will operate on routes №3, №10, and №15 according to the existing schemes. At the same time, there have been changes in the movement:

Route №14 will operate towards 'Autostrada – Freedom Square';

Route №16 – 'Pavlo-Kichkas – Zaporizhzhia Circus';
The operation of tram route №12 will be temporarily halted.
Changes in Bus Routes in Zaporizhzhia
Buses will operate on routes №7, №29, №34a, №38, №39, №56, №59, №71, №86, №94, №97, and №98 according to the approved movement schemes. Additionally, the following routes will work:

Routes №17, №18 and №72 from Borodinskoho and Osypenkivskyi districts will travel around via Arkovyi Bridge and Khortytsia Island with further movement on the main routes.
The city council also reminded that starting from October 31, 2025, due to possible electricity supply disconnections, the movement of trams and trolleybuses may be limited. In such cases, compensatory bus routes will be launched.
As a reminder, in Zaporizhzhia, the digital transport card 'Sich General' was introduced, which allows payment for travel in public transport directly from a smartphone.
