On May 12 in Dnipro, the movement of public transport was temporarily changed due to repairs of the tram tracks, road surface, and storm drainage in various areas of the city. Some routes are detoured, and certain terminus stops have been relocated. This is reported by Nashe Misto.
Tram No. 16 temporarily suspended in Dnipro
Due to the first stage of tram track repairs at the intersection of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Avenue and Chornykh Zaporizhtsiv Street, the movement of tram No. 16 has been temporarily suspended in the city.
The work of several bus routes has also been altered:
- Buses No. 18, No. 55, and No. 151A are rerouted via Krasnopilska Street;
- The terminus of bus No. 85 has been relocated to the building at Chornykh Zaporizhtsiv Street, 2A;
- Bus No. 136A temporarily ends its route at Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Avenue, 123.
Trolleybus routes changed due to sewer repairs
Additional changes have been implemented due to the closure of Prince Volodymyr the Great Street for storm sewer network repairs.
Trolleybus routes No. 2 and No. 12 have been combined into a temporary route ‘zh/m Parys — zh/m Peremoha’. The routes of trolleybuses No. 7, No. 14, No. 17, and No. 20 have also been shortened.
Bus No. 38 temporarily runs only to the ‘Most-City Center’ stop. Several other routes have also had their terminus stops relocated there.
Over 450 buses are operating in the city
City authorities have reported that all other public transport routes are operating normally.
In total, on May 12, 210 units of rolling stock went out on electric transport routes. Additionally, 91 bus routes are operating in Dnipro, serviced by 456 buses, including 62 large-capacity ones.
Repairs to road and transport infrastructure are regularly conducted in Dnipro, which leads the city authorities to periodically change public transport routes.
For passengers, this means temporary detours, relocation of stops, and potential delays on certain routes in the city.
It should be noted that on the night of May 7, Russia launched a strike on Dnipro using drones. One of the drones hit a residential quarter, causing a fire in an apartment on the top floor of a five-story building.
