On May 19, part of the public transport in Dnipro was transferred to temporary routes due to the repair of the tram track and the stormwater drainage network. The changes affected trams, trolleybuses, and buses in several areas of the city. This is reported by Dnipro Region.

The repair of the tram track in Dnipro changed transport movement

Due to the first stage of the track repair at the intersection of Bohdan Khmelnytsky Avenue and Chornykh Zaporizhtsiv Street, the tram No. 16 is temporarily halted.

Buses No. 18, No. 55, and No. 151A now detour via Krasnopilska Street. For some routes, the final stops have also changed.

In particular:

  • Bus No. 85 temporarily ends its route near the house on Chornykh Zaporizhtsiv Street, 2A;

  • Bus No. 136A has been moved from Inzhenerna Street to Bohdan Khmelnytsky Avenue, 123.

Trolleybuses and buses in Dnipro rerouted

Some changes were introduced due to the repair of the stormwater drainage network on Volodymyr the Great Street. Due to road closures, some routes were shortened or combined.

Trolleybuses No. 2 and No. 12 temporarily operate as a single route “ZHM Paryus – ZHM Peremoha (prov. Dobrovoltsiv)”.

Trolleybuses No. 7, No. 14, No. 17, No. 20, and bus No. 38 currently only run to the stop “Most-City Center”.

Additionally:

  • Buses No. 23, No. 57A, and No. 88 temporarily moved their final stop to Uspenska Square;

  • Bus No. 120 heading to ZHM Peremoha takes a changed route via Dmytro Yavornytsky Avenue;

  • Bus No. 121 heading to ZHM Paryus also detours through the central streets of the city.

The city council noted that all other public transport routes operate normally according to the weekend schedule.

Similar temporary changes in movement in Dnipro are regularly implemented during infrastructure and transport hub repairs. They most often affect the central part of the city and major highways.

For city residents, this means possible delays on the road and changes in regular transfers, so passengers are advised to check current routes in advance.

It should be noted that on the night of May 18, Russian drones attacked infrastructure facilities of Naftogaz in Dnipropetrovsk region.
