The American delegation in Moscow received an exquisite reception before important negotiations regarding the war in Ukraine. According to the information we have, dishes with a Michelin star, created from recipes of past centuries, were served to them at the restaurant of the 'Metropol' hotel.
Menu for the Americans
- Venison, crabs, quail stuffed with buckwheat;
- Three types of caviar: black, red, and pike;
- Dumplings with mushrooms, beets with gorgonzola;
- Salads: crab and 'Stolichny' – made from old Soviet recipes.
Desserts: 'Medovik', 'Napoleon' and 'Apple Charm'. Even Steve Witkoff couldn't resist a cheese cake and rated it.
Despite the gastronomic impressions, there was no political breakthrough in the Kremlin. Negotiations with Putin did not lead to an agreement on a peace plan, as Russia remains in its position, which is unacceptable for Ukraine.
