Ukrainian Lyudmyla Rusina, who lives in Germany, revealed that experienced waiters at Oktoberfest can earn up to 15-18 thousand euros in 16 days. At the same time, job vacancies need to be searched in advance, and the work requires good physical fitness. This was reported by 24 Channel. Earlier Inkorr talked about the real salaries of Ukrainians in Germany.
How much do waiters earn at Oktoberfest
According to Rusina, waiters' earnings depend on experience, sales volume, and tips. The blogger estimates the potential income for 16 days at 15-18 thousand euros, but does not specify whether this is the amount after taxes and expenses.
«The money, of course, is significant, but the work is hard», — the Ukrainian noted.
To get a position, according to Rusina, one has to apply about six months in advance. The competition is high, and the work shifts require endurance: waiters can carry 10-12 liter beer mugs in one hand.

What are the expenses and working conditions
The blogger explained that part of the earnings goes towards work clothes and shoes. In her estimation, a traditional costume can cost around 300 euros, while shoes are approximately 50 euros.
Workers coming from other cities also need to find accommodation. Its cost can significantly reduce the final earnings. Seasonal work abroad can be physically exhausting: for example, Inkorr wrote about how a Ukrainian worked in strawberry picking in Germany.
Thus, the amount of 15-18 thousand euros that Rusina mentions does not necessarily equal the net income of the worker. Before traveling, it is important to clarify payment conditions, schedules, living expenses, and employment rules. On how Ukrainians can find work in Germany, Inkorr reported earlier.
