In Zaporizhzhia on Friday, January 16, 2026, public transport will operate with changes. The reason is the temporary closure of bus and trolleybus traffic over the DniproHES dam. The restrictions will affect trolleybus, tram, and bus routes in the city. This is reported by the Zaporizhzhia City Council.
The Department of Transport and Communications reported that the operation of routes was planned taking into account detours and changes in traffic schemes, and some directions have been temporarily suspended.
Public transport in Zaporizhzhia: trolleybuses and trams
On January 16, trolleybuses will run on the following routes:
- No. 3 – '4th Southern Microdistrict – Zaporizhzhia Square'
- No. 8 – 'Simferopol Highway – Zaporizhzhia Square'
- No. 9 – 'BK ZAlK – Sedova Street'
- No. 14 – 'Simferopol Highway – Embankment'
- No. 25 – 'Sedova Street – Zaporizhzhia Square'
The operation of trolleybus routes No. 1 and No. 11 has been temporarily suspended.
Trams No. 3, No. 10, and No. 15 will operate according to the approved schedules. At the same time, tram No. 14 will run along the route 'Autostrada – Voli Square', and No. 16 – 'Pavlo-Kichkas – Zaporizhzhia Circus'. The movement of tram No. 12 is temporarily canceled.
Transport movement in Zaporizhzhia: bus routes
Buses No. 7, No. 29, No. 34a, No. 38, No. 39, No. 56, No. 59, No. 71, No. 86, No. 94, No. 97, and No. 98 will operate according to the approved schedules with changes taken into account. Route No. 71 will run between Zaporizhzhia Square and the 'Epicenter' shopping center via Sobornyi Avenue, Serhii Serikov Street, Kosmichna Street, and the M-18 road.
Routes No. 17, No. 18, and No. 72 from the Borodynsky and Osypenkivskyi microdistricts will detour through the Arkovyi Bridge, Khortytsia Island, and Metallurhiv Avenue. Additional bus routes 'Pishchana Street – Metallurhiv Avenue' and 'Zaporizhkabel Plant – Metallurhiv Avenue' are also planned.
