In Zaporizhzhia, from February 14 to 16, the operation of public transport will change due to the temporary closure of bus and trolleybus traffic due to the DniproHES dam. The adjustments concern the trolleybus, tram, and bus routes serviced by the city carrier. The Zaporizhzhia City Council reports.
The Department of Transport and Communications reported that during the restrictions, some routes will be suspended, while others will change their movement schemes. The city authorities have also introduced additional bus routes to ensure communication between districts.
Operation of public transport in Zaporizhzhia: trolleybuses and trams
On the specified days, trolleybuses will operate on the following routes:

No. 3 – “4th Southern Microdistrict – Zaporizhzhia Square”;

No. 8 – “Simferopol Highway – Zaporizhzhia Square”;

No. 9 – “Cultural House ZAlK – Sedov Street”;

No. 14 – “Simferopol Highway – Embankment”;

No. 25 – “Sedov Street – Zaporizhzhia Square”.
The operation of trolleybus routes No. 1 and No. 11 has been temporarily suspended.
Trams No. 3, No. 10, and No. 15 will operate according to the approved schemes. At the same time, tram No. 14 will travel on the route “Autostrada – Freedom Square,” while No. 16 will operate on “Pavlo-Kichkas – Zaporizhzhia Circus.” The movement of tram No. 12 will be suspended during this period.
Changes in bus movements in Zaporizhzhia on February 14-16
Buses No. 7, No. 29, No. 34a, No. 38, No. 39, No. 56, No. 59, No. 71, No. 86, No. 94, No. 97, and No. 98 will operate according to the approved schemes, considering the restrictions. For route No. 71, movement is provided through Sobornyi Avenue, Serhii Serikov Street, and Kosmichna Street with an exit to the M-18 highway.
Additionally, bus routes “Pishchana Street – Metallurgists Avenue” and “Zaporizhkabel Factory – Metallurgists Avenue” will operate. Routes No. 17, No. 18, and No. 72 from the Borodynskyi and Osypenkivskyi microdistricts will detour via Khortytsia and the Arch Bridge.
Remember, Russian forces carried out a series of attacks on Zaporizhzhia and the region on February 10-11, damaging infrastructure and residential buildings. As a result of the attacks, over 11 thousand subscribers in two districts of the city were left without electricity.
