In Zaporizhzhia on Friday, July 17, the public transport routes were temporarily changed due to the closure of the DniproHES dam for buses and trolleybuses. Some routes were canceled, while others were switched to autonomous operation, and additional buses were launched for passenger transport. This was reported by the Department of Transport and Communications of the Zaporizhzhia City Council, writes “Akzent”.

On July 17, trolleybus routes No. 2, No. 3, No. 8, No. 9, and No. 25 are operating as usual.
At the same time, trolleybuses No. 1 and No. 11 are temporarily not operating due to traffic restrictions due to the DniproHES dam.
In addition, from 05:00 to 21:30, trolleybus routes No. 8 and No. 14 are operating using autonomous drive. They provide passenger transport in the directions "Zaporizhzhia Square - Zaporizhzhia-I station" and "Naberezhnaya - Zaporizhzhia-I station".
Tram routes No. 3, No. 10, No. 12, No. 14, No. 15, and No. 16 continue to operate without changes.

Buses No. 7, No. 29, No. 34a, No. 38, No. 39, No. 48, No. 56, No. 59, No. 71, No. 86, No. 94, No. 97, and No. 98 are operating according to the usual schedule.
To improve transport communication, the city has also launched two additional bus routes:
- "Pishchana Street - Metallurgists Avenue";
- "Zaporizhkabel Plant - Metallurgists Avenue".
Temporary changes have affected buses No. 17, No. 18, and No. 72. Due to the closure of the dam, they are now detouring via Vinter Boulevard, Academik Vesnin Street, Serhiy Synenko Street, Anton Nezola Street, Ark Bridge, Khortytsia Island, Metallurgists Avenue, and Zaporizhzhia Square. In the opposite direction, the buses do not go onto Kyshashka Street.
