On June 2 in Dnipro, temporary changes in public transport operation were introduced. The reason was the repair of the tram track at one of the city's key intersections and work on the stormwater drainage network. Due to this, some routes were shortened, final stops were relocated or routed around. This was reported by 'Dnipro Region' citing the city authorities.

Tram track repair changed transport movement

The first stage of tram track repair began at the intersection of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Avenue and Chornykh Zaporizhtsiv Street.

In connection with this, the movement of tram No. 16 was temporarily suspended.

The bus route scheme was also changed:

  • Routes No. 18, No. 55, and No. 151A run via Krasnopilskaya Street;

  • The final stop of bus No. 85 was moved to the building at 2A Chornykh Zaporizhtsiv Street;

  • Bus No. 136A temporarily ends its route at 123 Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Avenue.

City authorities note that the restrictions will be in effect until the completion of the repair work.

Due to sewer repair, trolleybus routes were shortened

Additional changes are related to the repair of the stormwater drainage network on Prince Volodymyr the Great Street.

During the road closure, trolleybuses No. 2 and No. 12 were combined into a temporary route between the residential areas of Parys and Peremoha.

Trolleybuses No. 7, No. 14, No. 17, and No. 20, as well as bus No. 38 currently only run to the 'Most-City Center' stop.

Some buses had their final stops relocated

The changes affected several bus routes in the central part of the city.

The final stops of buses No. 23, No. 57A, and No. 88 have been moved to Uspenska Square.

Bus No. 120 now departs from Volodymyr Monomakh Street and moves through Dmytro Yavornytskyi Avenue, Voskresenska Street, and Sicheslavska Embankment.

The route of bus No. 121 has also been changed in the direction of the Parys residential area. The route goes through Volodymyr Monomakh Street, Dmytro Yavornytskyi Avenue, Juliusz Słowacki Street, and Sicheslavska Embankment.

The city council recommends passengers check current routes in advance before traveling, as restrictions may remain in place until the completion of repair works on transport and engineering infrastructure.

It is reminded that in Dnipro kamikaze drones hit the Nova Poshta terminal.
