The public transport scheme in Dnipro changed on November 21 due to storm sewer repairs and work on the tram tracks. The city had to close part of Prince Volodymyr the Great Street, so some routes will operate under a new scheme starting today. This is reported by Nashe Misto.

Public transport routes: key changes

According to the Dnipro Transport Department, the movement of trolleybuses and buses has been temporarily changed in the city.

List of adjustments effective from November 21:

  • Trolleybuses No. 2 and No. 12 have been merged into a route from ZHM Parus to ZHM Peremoga (prov. Dobrovoltsiv).

  • Trolleybuses No. 7, No. 14, No. 17, No. 20, and bus No. 38 now only run to Prince Volodymyr the Great Street. The terminus is Most-City Center.

  • Buses No. 23, No. 57A, and No. 88 have a new terminus at Uspenska Square.

  • For No. 120, the terminus has been moved to Volodymyr Monomakh Street; towards Peremoga, it goes through Dmytro Yavornytskyi, Voskresenska, and Sicheslavska Embankment.

  • Bus No. 121 travels around to Parus via Volodymyr Monomakh, Dmytro Yavornytskyi, Juliusz Słowacki, and Sicheslavska Embankment.

Tram changes: suspensions and alternatives

Some adjustments also concern electric transport. Due to track repairs on the Old Bridge, tram No. 6 and No. 9 have been temporarily suspended in the city.

Instead, buses are now operating as follows:

  • No. 6K – StaroMostiv Square – Institute of Mineral Resources

  • No. 9K – StaroMostiv Square – Meat Processing Plant

These changes will remain in effect until the repairs are completed.

Previously, we reported that Dnipro carriers demand to raise the fare to 20 hryvnias.
