Ukrainian pensioners can change the method of receiving their pension without visiting the institution — it is enough to submit an application, in particular via the internet. The registration takes minimal time and does not require additional approvals. The Main Department of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in the Odesa region reports.
Information was provided by the Main Department of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in the Odesa region. Pensioners can choose to receive funds through a bank card or with delivery via the joint-stock company 'Ukrposhta'.
Changing the method of receiving a pension can be done through the PFU web portal
To switch to a different payment format, it is necessary to submit an application to the territorial body of the Pension Fund of Ukraine. This can be done in several ways:

in person at any service center of the Pension Fund of Ukraine

online through the PFU electronic services web portal using a qualified electronic signature

through an authorized bank, whose representative submits the application
Submitting an application to change payments has clear requirements
When applying in person, it is necessary to have a passport or another document that confirms identity and age. When submitting an online application, scanned copies of documents must be of high quality and match the originals. If the application is made through the bank, all details in the respective form should be filled out correctly.
The Pension Fund of Ukraine emphasizes that changing the method of receiving funds does not require additional permissions and is carried out in a short time.
In Ukraine, payments are assigned based on age, disability, due to loss of a breadwinner, or for length of service. Documents for the appointment of a pension can also be submitted online or at any service center regardless of the place of residence.
It should be noted that certain categories of public sector workers, upon retirement at the age of the pension, are entitled to one-time payment in the amount of ten monthly pensions provided they meet the necessary length of service and do not have a previously assigned pension.
