In October 2026, the average salary for job vacancies in Kyiv is 37,500 UAH, while in Chernivtsi it is 22,000 UAH. Data for the incomplete month also show significant differences between salary offers and candidate expectations; previously, Inkorr analyzed salaries in Ukraine by regions. Salaries for job vacancies in the cities of Ukraine
The highest figure among the listed cities is in Kyiv, where employers offer an average of 37,500 UAH. This is the same as in September. Next is Dnipro with 35,000 UAH, Lviv with 29,500 UAH, and Odesa and Kharkiv with 29,000 UAH.
In the remaining cities, the figures are lower:

Vinnytsia - 26,500 UAH;

Zaporizhzhia and Cherkasy - 25,000 UAH each;

Zhytomyr - 24,703 UAH;

Chernivtsi - 22,000 UAH.
Salary expectations of candidates do not always coincide with employers' offers. In Lviv, job seekers expect an average of 30,000 UAH, while vacancies offer 29,500 UAH. In Odesa, the ratio is the opposite: expectations are 25,000 UAH, while offers are 29,000 UAH.
Where employers offer the highest salaries
According to robota.ua, the highest median salaries for job vacancies are recorded in the categories of "Security - Safety - Law Enforcement" and "Public Institutions - Local Government" - about 70,000 UAH.
Among other fields, offers are noticeably lower: in logistics - 31,500 UAH, manufacturing - 30,000 UAH, sales - 28,500 UAH, and trade - 26,000 UAH. In healthcare and pharmaceuticals, the median salary for job vacancies is 22,000 UAH.
At the same time, the number of resumes per vacancy varies. The highest competition among candidates without experience is 3.7 resumes per vacancy. In logistics, this figure is 1.2, while in manufacturing, there are 0.75 resumes per vacancy. Which vacancies have the highest salary offers
Among the vacancies listed in the study, the largest amounts are offered for managerial and logistics positions:

SMM Manager - 60,000–90,000 UAH;

For positions such as warehouse worker, general laborer, and sales representative, offers are approximately 35,000–40,300 UAH. The level of pay depends on the specialty, experience, and working conditions.
