Prices for New Year trees in December 2025 have practically not changed compared to last season. The State Enterprise Forests of Ukraine notes that the price remains social, with the average price for coniferous trees ranging from 210 to 250 hryvnias. This is reported by “Judicial and Legal Newspaper”.
Prices for New Year trees in 2025 remain stable
Foresters say that spruces and firs cost between 240 and 280 hryvnias. The most affordable trees remain in regions with large forest resources. In particular, the forested areas of the North and Polissia offer the lowest prices.

Sumy and Chernihiv regions: trees can be bought from 170 UAH

It is reminded that in 2025 new fines for illegal logging, transportation, and sale of live fir trees will come into effect in Ukraine. According to the new norms, citizens who engage in unauthorized logging of fir trees may face a fine ranging from 510 to 1020 hryvnias, while officials will face stricter penalties ranging from 2550 to 5100 hryvnias.
