In 2026, the monetary provision of Ukrainian servicemen will be formed according to the existing rules, without automatic increase in base salaries. The state budget for next year does not foresee an increase in main payments, however, the system of bonuses and combat payments will remain unchanged. This is reported by Novyny.LIVE.

The monetary provision for the military consists of a salary, allowances for years of service, specifics of duty, work with state secrets, as well as bonuses and one-time payments. The procedure for accruals is regulated by relevant law and government regulations.

Payments to the military in 2026: base salaries

The state budget for 2026, adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, does not contain provisions for increasing the monetary provision of defenders. Therefore, at the beginning of the year, the military will receive the same amounts as in 2025.

The minimum amount of monetary provision, established since 2023, is 20,130 UAH. The final amount depends on the position, branch of the military, length of service, and conditions of task execution.

Additional payments and bonuses for the military

In addition to the base salary, servicemen are entitled to monthly combat and special allowances:

  • 100,000 UAH — for direct participation in combat operations on the line of contact or in temporarily occupied territories;

  • 70,000 UAH — for carrying out combat missions in the first echelon of defense or offense, between positions of the parties, or on enemy territory;

  • 50,000 UAH — for service in military administrative bodies, staff, and command;

  • 30,000 UAH — for logistical units, sappers outside combat zones, as well as for air defense and critical infrastructure facility protection units.

In 2026, the military will also continue to receive health payments and various types of financial aid depending on service circumstances.

It should be noted that, in the event of salary delays, servicemen can contact the financial authorities of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the State Audit Office of Ukraine.
