NABU and SAP handed over intercept drones to the army: results of the week in the fight against corruption

At the beginning of this week, NABU and SAP, together with the Come Back Alive Foundation, handed over 55 specialized intercept drones to the 1129th anti-aircraft missile regiment, thereby helping in the fight against crime. In total, this assistance cost over five million hryvnias.



During investigations, SAP and NABU discovered regional and city council deputies who demanded bribes of 30 thousand US dollars for construction in Lutsk, as well as identified involvement in the misappropriation of 129 million hryvnias designated for the reconstruction of a water pipeline in Dnipropetrovsk region.



The effective work of the anti-corruption bureau yielded tangible results in court, changing the preventive measure for a judge and convicting a former general director of a state enterprise for corruption schemes in procurement for the defense sector.



At the same time, it was announced that the director of the commercial state enterprise 'Pavlohrad Chemical Plant' will serve 4 years in prison, and the verdict against a former member of parliament regarding the illegal payment of compensations was confirmed.



SAP plans to appeal the decision to close the case regarding a bribe of 50 thousand US dollars, continuing the fight against corruption at all levels.



This week, important events took place in Ukraine in the field of the fight against corruption, where SAP and NABU continue to actively operate, exposing corruption schemes and holding those responsible accountable.
