Overview of the Ukraine Recovery Diaspora Alliance's Efforts
The Ukraine Recovery Diaspora Alliance, representing members from 16 countries worldwide, continues its mission to support Ukraine's reconstruction and development. Currently, the Alliance includes 38 members and 10 partner organizations. Recently, co-chairs of the Alliance convened to introduce new leadership, review progress, and assess outcomes following the 2026 Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC 2026).
Among the newly appointed co-chairs are Yaroslava Hortyana, president of the World Federation of Ukrainian Women's Organizations (WFUWO), and Miroslava Keryk, head of the Ukrainian House Foundation in Poland. Additionally, Ilona Havronska, Deputy Minister of Social Policy, Family, and Unity, serves as a co-chair. The meeting focused on upcoming plans, including organizing the Alliance's first in-person gathering and outlining strategic priorities and work plans for thematic groups in 2027.
Ilona Havronska emphasized: "Whether individuals plan to return to Ukraine or continue living abroad, they can contribute to the country's recovery and development, joining our shared Ukrainian and European future. The Diaspora Alliance offers a platform to unite efforts and collaboratively develop concrete solutions to amplify this contribution."
