Zelensky in Zaporizhzhia: what tasks the military received for reinforcement

Президент Зеленський в Запоріжжі: які нові виклики поставлені перед військовими для посилення оборони.

Today I spent the entire day in the Zaporizhzhia region, visiting our combat brigades: the 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade, which is part of the 17th Corps defending our state in the direction of Orikhiv, as well as the soldiers of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade, who are defending the territories around Stepnohirs'k.

Today we had a very detailed discussion with the commanders about what is needed to strengthen our positions and how to reinforce this important direction. I am grateful for the detailed information about the difficulties here in the Zaporizhzhia region, especially in the areas of Hulyaipole and Kamianske. Tomorrow I will hold a meeting with the headquarters specifically focused on this region – on the defense of Zaporizhzhia and all the raised issues.

Support for the Zaporizhzhia Region

We had a detailed conversation with the head of the regional administration, Ivan Fedorov, about the situation in the city and the region, as well as about the support that Zaporizhzhia currently needs – both human and entrepreneurial. First of all, protection from attacks and defense across the region from Russian strikes. I have already given assignments to the military, and we will allocate more resources to this direction.
