Армія стала жертвою корупційних схем у закупівлях: штраф у розмірі 36 мільйонів гривень та внесення до чорного списку.

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine exposes collusion

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMC) exposed collusion during state procurements of clothing and equipment for the Armed Forces, imposing fines on two companies. This concerns LLC 'MIK' and LLC 'PAKOPTTORG', which were fined a total of 36.3 million UAH.

Research on state procurements

The procurement investigation was conducted by the State Logistics Operator (DLP) in 2024. The subject of procurement was modular covers for bulletproof vests and winter windproof jackets. It is worth noting that the company LLC 'PAKOPTTORG' was registered on January 17, 2024.

Enterprises that violate the law are placed on a 'black list' for three years. This means that companies involved in collusion will not have the opportunity to participate in state procurements during this period. It is also worth mentioning that in 2019, LLC 'MIK' was involved in a scandal over the supply of poor-quality uniforms worth 1.5 billion UAH, highlighting compliance issues in this area.

This situation underscores the importance of monitoring state procurements, especially in wartime conditions, when providing the army with quality equipment is critically important.

The AMC continues its work to identify and prevent corruption schemes in the field of state procurements, contributing to increased transparency and efficiency in budget spending.

Detecting collusion in state procurements of clothing and equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine indicates the intensification of the Antimonopoly Committee's efforts in combating corruption and ensuring fair competition conditions. The results of this investigation can serve as an example for other companies engaged in state contracts and highlight the importance of adhering to ethical standards in business practices, especially in critical areas related to the country's defense capability.
