Achievements of Ukrainian skiers at the World Cup

Yan Havyryk won a silver medal at the FIS World Cup in freestyle skiing held in Lake Placid, USA. This achievement is the first in the career of the 21-year-old athlete, who received a score of 94.12 from the judges. It is important to note that the silver was won at the fifth stage of the World Cup, where the Ukrainian skier demonstrated high skill and technical preparation.

At this same stage, other Ukrainian athletes had varying results:

  • Maxim Kuznetsov finished ninth with a score of 80.57;
  • Dmytro Kotovskyi came in eleventh place, scoring 74.78;
  • Zakhar Maksymchuk concluded the competition in 22nd place with a score of 82.62;
  • Oleksandr Okipniuk ranked 35th, earning 66.06 points.

This stage of the World Cup was also important for Dmytro Kotovskyi, who won the third stage of the FIS World Cup in freestyle skiing in 2023. Additionally, Oleksandr Okipniuk won gold at the first stage of the World Cup. Thus, the results of Ukrainian skiers indicate their competitiveness on the international stage and progress in the development of this sport in Ukraine.

Yan Havyryk's achievement marks an important moment in the young athlete's career, who has demonstrated potential for further success in international competitions.
