Galeev also noted that a Russian withdrawal from Ukraine would pose both logistical and political challenges. “It will be physically harder for it to disentangle itself from the conflict. Moreover, the two countries will remain neighbors forever, one way or another,” he stressed. In the analyst's view, the Russia-Ukraine war will not end abruptly: “In the case of Russia and Ukraine, I don’t see a scenario where the conflict simply ends like a bell at a boxing match and everyone walks away. I find that hard to believe.”
