This achievement places him level with Maksym Shatskikh, a prominent figure in Ukrainian football history. Yarmolenko secured this landmark goal during the 6th round clash against Epicenter, where Dynamo triumphed 3-0. The goal came at the 42nd minute, assisted by Mykola Shaparenko.
Yarmolenko’s scoring pace surpasses that of Shatskikh, having reached 124 goals in just 292 league appearances, while Shatskikh required 341 matches to hit the same tally. Within Dynamo Kyiv’s all-time top scorers, Yarmolenko ranks second, trailing only the legendary Oleh Blokhin, who scored 266 goals. Other notable top scorers in the Ukrainian Premier League include:
