Hennadiy Trukhanov has been suspected in connection with the tragedy in Odessa, where he failed to fulfill his duties regarding the functioning of engineering networks, which resulted in fatalities. The former mayor is awaiting trial under high detention conditions.
As a result of the appellate review, the court agreed with the prosecutors' arguments regarding the existing procedural risks and upheld the preventive measure of house arrest, as stated in the message.
