Japanese jumper Ren Nikaido won the third stage of the Four Hills Tournament in Innsbruck, becoming first in his career at the World Cup level. This event was significant for the 24-year-old athlete, who achieved such success in high-level competitions for the first time.

At the competition in Innsbruck, Ren Nikaido demonstrated excellent results that allowed him to take first place. Domen Prevc, a Slovenian jumper who had won the previous two stages, finished in second place. Third place was taken by 19-year-old Austrian Stefan Embacher, who fell short of Prevc by 0.2 points.
