Японія виділяє 47,7 мільйона євро на відновлення України: на які проекти підуть ці кошти.

Reconstruction of Ukraine with the support of Japan

Japan has allocated approximately €47.7 million for the reconstruction of Ukraine and approved a new phase of the emergency recovery program. These funds are aimed at supporting various areas of recovery, including:

  • humanitarian demining,
  • maintenance of energy infrastructure,
  • restoration of water supply systems,
  • improvement of public infrastructure,
  • support for public health and safety projects,
  • provision of educational services.

The Japanese parliament has approved an additional budget to continue grant projects of the emergency recovery program. Funding for the reconstruction of Ukraine after the war will be carried out through international funds, investments, and compensations. The President of Ukraine noted that partners propose the establishment of a compensation system amounting to $800 billion, which could significantly assist in the country's recovery.

Japan's support, which includes financing important recovery projects, underscores international solidarity with Ukraine amid the ongoing conflict. Japan's participation in recovery efforts can become an important step in attracting other international partners and investments that will be necessary for the country's reconstruction. It also reflects Japan's growing role on the international stage in addressing humanitarian crises and rebuilding infrastructure in post-conflict zones.
