Its seven-core GPU offers up to 40% improved graphics performance, while its neural accelerators perform FP8 computations twice as fast. The Neural Engine comprises two clusters totaling 32 cores. Battery life stands out with the iPhone 18 Pro offering up to 36 hours of video playback, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max extends this to 45 hours. Under typical usage, the Pro model lasts up to 24 hours, and the Pro Max up to 30 hours. Wired charging can replenish 50% battery capacity in about 15 minutes, and just five minutes of charging enables up to six hours of video viewing.
Pricing in the U.S. starts at $1,199 for the iPhone 18 Pro with 256 GB of storage, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max begins at $1,299. For the first time, a 2 TB storage variant is available for the Pro Max model. Pre-orders open on September 12, 2023, with sales commencing on September 18, 2023.
