According to insider information shared by the leaker Digital Chat Station, detailed battery capacities for the global and U.S. versions of the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max have emerged. The data was spotted in Chinese regulatory filings, as noted by MacRumors.

Based on the available information, the global version of the iPhone 18 Pro will pack a 4056 mAh battery, while the U.S. variant will feature a 4288 mAh cell. This difference stems from design factors, particularly the presence of a physical SIM card tray. For reference, the iPhone 17 Pro offers a 3988 mAh battery globally and a 4252 mAh unit in its eSIM-only model.

Upgrades in the iPhone 18 Pro Max

As for the iPhone 18 Pro Max, it will come with a 5391 mAh battery for international markets and a 5567 mAh unit for the U.S. Compared to its predecessor—the iPhone 17 Pro Max, which has a 4823 mAh battery (global) and a 5088 mAh battery (U.S.)—the new iPhone 18 Pro Max sees an approximately 10% increase in capacity.
